Now let me share with you another “Letter from God” about how we can be like God in His generosity from my Bible study book, My Father In Me.
My Precious Princess and Daughter:
Be generous to those around you. I will take good care of you. Trust Me. No, I may not give you everything you want, but I promise to supply all of your true needs! And I hope you’ve seen that I also have given you many of your desires. I want you to enjoy My good gifts.
But how can I give you your desires if you are stingy? After all, don’t I actually own everything you have? I can take it all away if it distracts you from trusting Me!
So hold onto it all loosely. Your true happiness doesn’t depend upon things anyway. Remember the last time you longed for something new for your closet or your house? You thought it would bring such contentment. But has it?
Keep your eyes on Me. I love you and I delight in giving you everything that will bring true happiness. I give good gifts. Follow My example.
