We were out to dinner with some friends, and when the waitress brought our food, he asked her, “We are Christians and will pray over our food. Is there something we can pray for you?”

You could have pushed her over with a feather! She was so shocked and obviously glad. She asked for prayer for her elementary aged son about his schooling.

I was so amazed at this simple outreach. And as the Lord leads, I’ve asked that same question of waiters, store clerks, and others. It’s incredible how they react. They are totally taken back but everyone I’ve asked has been glad. Some have to think a bit before they answer but others know immediately what to ask for.

I can’t say that I’ve seen any real fruit from this yet, but I know the Lord will use it as a seed for His use.
