From Kathy
“But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.” Malachi 4:2
Malachi 4:2 describes the joy of seeing God’s work in our lives, whether by trusting Him more, exhibiting more of the fruit of the Spirit, or sharing God’s good news more freely. We all can be set free from wrong reactions to romp in joyful freedom like calves set free from the stall.
For that to happen we must recognize when we are returning to spiritual cisterns of lies and wrong beliefs. Jeremiah 2:13 tells us,
“For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, The fountain of living waters, To hew for themselves cisterns, Broken cisterns That can hold no water.”
My passion is to share with others through my books and speaking how to be empowered to turn from the broken cisterns of lies and wrong beliefs.
Heart transformation from the inside out is possible.
Thank you for visiting my website and blog. I hope it will create greater thirst for God’s refreshing and soul-hydrating flowing spring within you.

Kicking Against the Goads Sure Is Painful

Put Zechariah 1:5 on My Headstone
The older I become, the more aware I am of the passage of time. Not just, "Wow, this year is going so fast. It's already August." But the perspective of looking at my five-year-old grandson, Raffi, and thinking that some day (if the Lord tarries), he'll be a grandpa...
Worried That I Can’t Love God Enough
Image: FreeDigitalPhotos.netOne afternoon after I’d been a Christian for about five years, I drove home from church feeling downhearted. Why can’t I love God enough? I asked myself over and over again. I was afraid that if I didn’t love him “enough,” He would never...
Where Adultery Starts
Image: FreeDigitalPhotos.net"It's actually easier to resist adultery than eating too much pie."That's what I wrote in a past post. The thought sprang into my mind and it seemed contrary to what I was writing at the time. But it seemed true because very few people plan...
God More Important Than Sugar? Is That Possible?
In my last post, I talked about how succumbing to my addiction of sugar is not a "small" sin, yet I overlook it because it doesn't seem like there will be "big" consequences. But we talked about how there aren't "big" and "little" sins. Every sin shows our disregard...
Your Sin Starts Here
When I visit our daughter who lives near Seattle, Washington, I love walking in the mornings in nearby neighborhoods. During one walk, I noticed a street drain that had a little sign measuring about 3X5 inches near it that said, "The Puget Sound Starts Here" with an...
