From Kathy
“But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.” Malachi 4:2
Malachi 4:2 describes the joy of seeing God’s work in our lives, whether by trusting Him more, exhibiting more of the fruit of the Spirit, or sharing God’s good news more freely. We all can be set free from wrong reactions to romp in joyful freedom like calves set free from the stall.
For that to happen we must recognize when we are returning to spiritual cisterns of lies and wrong beliefs. Jeremiah 2:13 tells us,
“For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, The fountain of living waters, To hew for themselves cisterns, Broken cisterns That can hold no water.”
My passion is to share with others through my books and speaking how to be empowered to turn from the broken cisterns of lies and wrong beliefs.
Heart transformation from the inside out is possible.
Thank you for visiting my website and blog. I hope it will create greater thirst for God’s refreshing and soul-hydrating flowing spring within you.

But God, Being Cool Is So Cool!
In a previous post, I talked about claiming God's promises as a "demand." In other posts, I've talked about the idea of "demands." When I first heard of this concept, it didn't resonate with me. I just couldn't "get" it. I couldn't see how it applied to me or in what...
Focus on Jochebed
Today let's focus on a woman of the Bible from Exodus 2 to continue our on-and-off focus about worry. This woman is Jochebed and she had a lot to worry about. She had given birth to a son. Normally a wonderful joy, it actually rang the death bell for the...
Is God a “One Size Fits All” Kind of God?
Image: FreeDigitalPhotos.netOur wonderful God is not a "one size fits all" kind of God. Sometimes I forget that and think things like:Well, God responded to my friend that way, so He'll respond the same way to me.Well, God is "the same yesterday, today and forever,"...
Worry Is Not Benign
We were created to walk in fellowship with God, trusting Him for everything in our lives. We were not created with the capability of carrying the heavy load of worry. Many people think of worry as just an innocuous way to spend time but it is actually destructive....
Are You Thinking or Worrying?
Sometimes when I’m worried, I feel like a fog of fear and anxiety is swirling all around me, blocking out the ability to think clearly and trust God. It quickly fuels responses like complaining, grumbling, being self absorbed and selfish, or making a quick decision...
