From Kathy
“But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.” Malachi 4:2
Malachi 4:2 describes the joy of seeing God’s work in our lives, whether by trusting Him more, exhibiting more of the fruit of the Spirit, or sharing God’s good news more freely. We all can be set free from wrong reactions to romp in joyful freedom like calves set free from the stall.
For that to happen we must recognize when we are returning to spiritual cisterns of lies and wrong beliefs. Jeremiah 2:13 tells us,
“For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, The fountain of living waters, To hew for themselves cisterns, Broken cisterns That can hold no water.”
My passion is to share with others through my books and speaking how to be empowered to turn from the broken cisterns of lies and wrong beliefs.
Heart transformation from the inside out is possible.
Thank you for visiting my website and blog. I hope it will create greater thirst for God’s refreshing and soul-hydrating flowing spring within you.

Today, I finish my month-long study of Micah. It's been a rich treat. Tomorrow, I'll head back into the New Testament to study 1 Corinthians. As I studied Micah 7, verses 18-19 really spoke to me:Who is a God like you, (The Message writes this: Where is the god who can...
Take Care of My Little Lamb
As I was giving Audrey her shower this morning, I began to feel frustrated with the 75 times she wiped her eyes and face. (I'm not kidding). For no seeming reason 🙂 the 23rd Psalm came into my mind: "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want..." At first I meditated...
God Gives a Break
I remember noticing this back when studying Isaiah and it has continued in most of the minor prophetic books also. God goes back and forth between pointing out sin, giving consequences, and naming how they will be delivered in the future. Each of those three elements...
“How Have I Wearied You?”–God
In Micah 6:3, God says to the Israelites, "My people, what have I done to you, And how have I wearied you? Answer Me" (NASB).In The Message, Eugene Petersen rephrases it as, "Dear people, how have I done you wrong? Have I burdened you, worn you out? Answer!"Today, God...
