From Kathy

“But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.” Malachi 4:2

Malachi 4:2 describes the joy of seeing God’s work in our lives, whether by trusting Him more, exhibiting more of the fruit of the Spirit, or sharing God’s good news more freely. We all can be set free from wrong reactions to romp in joyful freedom like calves set free from the stall.

For that to happen we must recognize when we are returning to spiritual cisterns of lies and wrong beliefs. Jeremiah 2:13 tells us,

“For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, The fountain of living waters, To hew for themselves cisterns, Broken cisterns That can hold no water.”

My passion is to share with others through my books and speaking how to be empowered to turn from the broken cisterns of lies and wrong beliefs.

Heart transformation from the inside out is possible.

Thank you for visiting my website and blog. I hope it will create greater thirst for God’s refreshing and soul-hydrating flowing spring within you.

Are You Dead Yet?

Our pastor told the story of Joseph Ton who was a preacher in Romania, which at that time was under communist rule and illegal to preach Jesus. One day, Joseph sensed the Lord wanting him to be willing to literally lie to self. So he courageously preached knowing he...

Entitlement: Have It Your Way!

I've been thinking a lot about "entitlement." Entitlement is the idea that I'm entitled to something; that I should have something or even be something. It means, "I deserve this or that."I think our anger or frustration or irritation, maybe many ungodly responses...

Soft Ground for Pulling Out Weeds

Larry and I pulled weeds today and there was a huge difference in the ease of the removal depending upon whether the ground was wet or dry. HUGE difference!Of course, I got to thinking, if God wants to pull any weeds of sin out of my life, what would make my "soil"...

Reasons to Not Be Afraid or Worried

We all love Isaiah 43:2: "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you." NASBThat verse encourages us to not be afraid or...

One Small Step for Mankind…

Some time ago a friend forwarded to me a series of photos that showed where plastic shopping bags can end up. Like hundreds of miles out to sea, wrapped around sea animals and bird's necks, etc. Maybe you've seen this. And I think they said that these plastic bags...

Gratitude for Our Military

I'll never forget speaking with a woman at a conference and when she told me her husband was in the military, I said, "Thank you so much for serving our country." She began to cry and whispered, "My husband is in a high position in the military and has served for over...
