From Kathy

“But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.” Malachi 4:2

Malachi 4:2 describes the joy of seeing God’s work in our lives, whether by trusting Him more, exhibiting more of the fruit of the Spirit, or sharing God’s good news more freely. We all can be set free from wrong reactions to romp in joyful freedom like calves set free from the stall.

For that to happen we must recognize when we are returning to spiritual cisterns of lies and wrong beliefs. Jeremiah 2:13 tells us,

“For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, The fountain of living waters, To hew for themselves cisterns, Broken cisterns That can hold no water.”

My passion is to share with others through my books and speaking how to be empowered to turn from the broken cisterns of lies and wrong beliefs.

Heart transformation from the inside out is possible.

Thank you for visiting my website and blog. I hope it will create greater thirst for God’s refreshing and soul-hydrating flowing spring within you.

You Are Important to God

We're looking at Matthew 6 in dealing with worry, and it'll give you confidence to know that even though God wants life to be about Him, Jesus goes on to stress how important each of us is to Him. He says, “Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, neither...

Life Should Be About God–Not Worry!

I'm sure we'd all say that life should be about God, but sometimes worry gets in the way. We become consumed with our own needs or concerns. So let's see how Matthew 6:25 can speak to us.   “For this reason I say to you, do not be anxious for your life, as to what you...

After Sinning, We Cover Up and Suffer Consequences

For several posts, we've been looking at temptation. Here's our last post: after sin, we cover up and suffer consequences. We want to consider what happens when we sin because Satan is continuing to tempt us just like he did Eve.   In Genesis 3:7-24, we see how Adam...

Sin Is Conceived from Deceptive “Advantages”

For several posts, we've been looking at temptation. Here's our next topic: sin is conceived by agreeing to deceptive "advantages." And we're looking at how Satan tempted Eve, because he continues to do the very kind of things to us.    In verse 6, Eve saw the...
