Thank you so very very much for your prayers for God’s leading for our meeting with Dr. Carman. And for Larry and I to be able to hear and understand.

God did exactly that and we have confidence in the decision that has been made. I will have a lumpectomy on January 20th. After the surgery, any additional decisions will be made with the oncologist (for instance, radiation and/or hormone blocker medicine).

When Dr. Carman worked with the scheduler to try to fit me into her busy schedule on January 20th, she rearranged two other scheduled surgeries that day in order to fit me in. Otherwise, I would have had to wait five more days until her next surgery day. I felt intensely grateful, as you can imagine.

I almost thought God was parting the Red Sea!

Until January 20th, I have five other kinds of tests, etc, for preparation. So please pray for God’s protection from any obstacles that He doesn’t intend to be a part of His plan. And indeed, I’m very confident nothing can happen except within His plan.

Again, how can I thank you enough for your expressions of love. I am heart-warmed by your care and kindness.

Again, I point to the Psalmist words in Psalm 138:8, this time in the Amplified Bible:

The Lord will accomplish that which concerns me;
Your [unwavering] lovingkindness, O Lord, endures forever—
Do not abandon the works of Your own hands.
